FTC Texas State Championship results:
🏆 Johnson Division Winning Alliance – Captain
🏆 1st Place Design Award
Over the weekend we competed with the best 72 teams from across Texas at the FTC State Championship to earn one of 12 spots to advance to the World Championship.
We went 5-1 in qualification matches and ranked second in the Johnson Division, huge surprise! We beat the #12 team in the world,The Disruptingly Robocephalic BrainSTEM Robotics Team, in our last qualification match. Then as Alliance Captain we invited BrainSTEM to our alliance along with Westwood Tomahawk and we won our division playoffs in six matches.
Our alliance made it to the finals against the Tesla Division and lost in two matches. But it didn’t matter, our alliance is second in Texas!
🏆 🧀 We received Design Award FIRST PLACE for our robot’s unique cheesy design.
