✅ First league meet, check!
Microchips and Queso competed with 10 other teams in the North East Robotics Division (NERD) league in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024.
We won 5 matches and only lost 1 match, which was enough to finish first in the league. We also got the High Score of the day with 115 points! The results are listed on the FIRST events website here.
💻🏅 Roman, our programmer, wins our team’s gracious professionalism award, because he helped two teams fix their code.
💙 A day of robotics means something will go wrong and you need adapt. The team overcame some technical challenges, but still managed to take the lead.
🪨 Our mentor, Mr. Marcus, brought a deceptively heavy chunk of tungsten to show off its density.
Our next meet is in 4 short weeks and the team is already creating fixes, updates, and improvements!
